Mecha-Nation

Got fingerfuls of sand sifted in fingers stretched,
cupped the dust from windy days, still blew away,
Soot covered in envy you revised,
promised presents away you wanted to keep and not to give as gifts when
Pigs eat the pearls that you gave away
You were weightless then, blown in gusty breeze
Like dandelion seeds that found no garden.
A land far away volcanic, mountains were rising but froze in their place
In flowers and seed each reclining, poppies were pining,
covering up the molten graves beneath.
Hook you in the moment you saw visions
That they took away you wanted to keep
And lot let go when you get those inhibitions that were built to stay
Hooked in and then cut bait or reel it in
So you got strung in fin, you can swim away
Sinking in the vessel they were bailing
But sank anyway in waters deep
Weightless wonder held you weightless sailing
But ship-side you took on new weight.
Please forgive this duplication,
the beginning and the end of my education,
This is not a duplicate, it’s the beginning of the doubling of my remediation,
This is not to simulate, it’s the beginning of the end of a Mecha-Nation,
That’s unfair to stimulate if you really want an emulation,
It begins when you get real lost for a real long
A real long time, shouldn’t it be then?
And that’s when there’s no more roads,
Like the wind at the bottom of the bottle of Bael tested fine wine,
End the battles, erase the time.
Got a fingerful of sand sifted in fingers
stretched to cup the dust from windy days.
